Happy New Year to you! May it be full of health, wealth, happiness, and the time to enjoy all three.
Great news about Scarlet! The colors are finally finished, and the letters are being applied to the pages as we speak. The digital edition of the book should be completed soon. Once I collect the assets, I'll put them all on Backerkit and make them available. The only thing that makes that process a little slow is assigning the right items to the right people ("If-Then" logic if you're familiar with programming), but I anticipate it taking no more than a week or so. Barring a complete meltdown somewhere, you'll have the digital version in January as promised. This will also help us stay on track for the planned March deadline to ship physical goods to everyone. I'm as excited to get this in your hands as you are to get it, so watch this space!
Related to all of this, if you still haven't returned your Backerkit survey to complete your order, please do so as soon as possible. We aren't far from finalizing item counts and putting in the order with the printer, so you don't want to miss out. The window for when we can realistically ship your merchandise closes not long after fulfillment ends. In the past, I've had people ask if they can get their orders many months (and longer!) afterward, and it pains me when I can't due to a lack of backstock. Make it easy on both of us -- fill out that survey!👍
As for what to expect early in the year from Outpost 426, rumors of a certain Blackrabbit appearing in February are gaining steam. Keep your eyes peeled!

Project update

Hey, everyone!
I just wanted to reach out and let everyone know how things are going. Things are quiet as we wait for surveys to be returned, which always happens when we're down to the last 50 or so. Work continues apace on finishing the book, and we're up to 14 pages colored. Once the final 10 are done, they'll be sent promptly to the letterer, and the book will be ready to go. We're still on pace to have the digital version ready to go in January; I'll do my best to make that happen earlier in the month rather than later. And I still anticipate starting the fulfillment of the books in March. I will certainly keep you apprised one way or the other.

Hey, everyone!
It's been a minute, so I wanted to shoot out an update. Progress on the project is proceeding, with the pages still being colored. Once that's completed, the letters will be applied rapidly, so I believe we're still on track for a January release of the digital editions, with the print editions mailing out in March. I will keep you updated as we approach those milestones.
In the interim, we've moved to Backerkit, so make sure emails from that domain aren't going into your spam folders. Your survey will be coming from there in the near future, but first, we're doing the smoke test, which is where we send out surveys to around 5% of you to ensure everything's working. Once we confirm that, then the rest of you will be able to lock in your orders, as well as add any goodies you might want. Cards, prints, variant covers, back issues -- it'll all be there! Be on the lookout!
One important note! Digital products sold through the online store (but not to digital products you've already ordered) may charge physical shipping. If that happens, let me know, and I will apply a credit to offset that cost. Backerkit is amazingly handy for fulfillment purposes, but their storefront functionality is still a bit janky, something I hope they'll address after enough prodding.
Anyway, look for the smoke tests, after which the surveys will come. I otherwise hope you have a great weekend!
